Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have fixed the one major issue I have been having, which is that when I wake the computer from sleep, an app launch or something shortly after waking makes Window Server crash. This means I get thrown back to the login screen and all apps I was running get relaunched. Sadly, this didn't show up in my testing of the OS before I upgraded from Mavericks, as my test was running on a different partition that was a clean install.

That was great for testing app compatibility with Yosemite, but not for conflicts like this. I guess finding the issue is up to me now.
Hopefully this update fixes the issues others were having, though. Overall Yosemite is fine for me.

A friend sold us his 2007 MBP for $150 and that's now her computer, running Yosemite. Meanwhile, I've taken the MB back and have been getting the audio stuff I had on there back then working again - Logic 8, MainStage 1, Ivory 1, etc.
